Can I purchase a season pass on the day of my visit?

Yes, season passes can be purchased at the park entrance and will include your admission for the day. Please expect a significant wait time when purchasing in park. 

Avoid the line and purchase online! You'll save, and you can upload your photo so that your card can be mailed directly to you. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this option as you will have immediate access to all of your season pass benefits with no waiting!

How do I purchase a gift membership?

We do not sell gift certificates or gift cards, but purchasing a gift membership voucher online is easy! 

When purchasing a gift membership online you will be able to print a voucher, which you can present to the recipient. You will NOT be asked for the gift recipients information (address, phone, email etc.) on gift memberships. If you are purchasing for a raffle and do not know who the recipient will be, simply enter "Gift" as the name when printing your voucher. 

To purchase a gift membership, select the membership category of your choice. In the next window select the gift membership option. Print the voucher at the end of the transaction for the recipient.

The recipient will not receive a membership card until they have activated their gift voucher online or in the membership office at the Columbus Zoo, and we have an updated photo for their pass. The recipient has until the end of the current Zoombezi Bay season to activate their voucher. Once activated, the season pass will be valid until Zoombezi Bay closes for the season. 

For Gold memberships, the recipient has one year from the date of purchase to activate their voucher. Once activated, the member will receive a full year of membership.

When can I use my season pass?

A Zoombezi Bay season pass is valid for entry during the summer operating season of the year the pass is valid.

Admission to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is included from the opening date of the Zoombezi Bay season through Labor Day of the same season. During late-May and mid-August when the water park is open weekends only, you may use your season pass for Columbus Zoo admission on weekdays when the water park is closed.

After Labor Day, your season pass is expired and will no longer work for either park. 

Can I get into the Zoo with my Zoombezi Bay Season Pass?

Yes! Season pass holders can use their pass for admission to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium from the opening date of the Zoombezi Bay season through Labor Day of the same season. During late-May and mid-August when the water park is open weekends only, you may use your season pass for Columbus Zoo admission on weekdays when the water park is closed.

When will I receive my season pass card?

For fastest service, purchase your season pass online and upload your photo! Your card will be mailed to you as quickly as possible, usually within a few days.

When ordering via mail, please allow 2 - 3 weeks for processing and mail voucher delivery. If you do not receive your voucher in a timely manner, please contact the membership office at (614) 724-3489. If we have a recent photo on file, a card will be mailed to you. 

To acquire your season pass or Gold membership at the park, please present your order confirmation or voucher and a valid photo ID. The Columbus Zoo membership office is open 363 days a year. 

Spring and early Summer is the peak season for season pass purchases. Please allow extra time for delivery. 

What happens if I lose my season pass?

If you lose your season pass simply go to the membership/season pass processing office at the entrance of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium with your photo ID to have your card reprinted for a fee.

Please note that without your season pass card you will be required to pay for parking. Present your parking receipt at the membership building and we will credit the amount paid towards the cost of a card reprint. 

We encourage you to take a clear photo of your card so that your name, photo and barcode are clearly visible. With a photo of your card stored on your smart phone you will always have your season pass handy! If the photo on your phone is not clear and cannot be scanned at the turnstiles, you may be asked to check in through the membership office at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's entrance. 

Do season pass holders receive a discount at the gift shops?

Yes, Zoombezi Bay season pass holders receive a discount at both Zoombezi Bay and Columbus Zoo gift shops.
